It has been close to forever since the last post, the Tortuga is sorry. But don’t fret the Tortuga has not been idle. Dark nights under the bright stars in Fort Davis, Winter Festivals on Galveston Island to Camping on the beach. This does not even account for all the new improvements to the Tortuga Truck. Life is precious to sit still, the Tortuga goal is to always move One Mile More down the trail.
The other epiphany that struck the Tortuga across the head was how important it is capture the moments that enriches our lives. To rewind the adventure and capture the moments on paper is like making the colors brighter. There is so much to see and so much to remember then share. My fear is that I might lose the smallest fiber to this fabric, the fabric that makes up the Tortuga life and the experiences that we all have been blessed with.
Well, for 2019 my goal is to better share the Tortuga’s trips One Mile More down the trail.
The Tortuga is always looking to go One Mile More than most, just to see what others will never. Another way to have the same experience is to go to popular places at unpopular times, and Tortuga favorite is going to the Beach in the winter. Not only did the Tortuga go to beach in the winter off season but tried a popular place, New Orleans, in what was anticipated to be an off season, right before Christmas.. New Orleans French Quarter, Well, the Tortuga can’t always get it right, but with a little exploring you can make it right, more on that later.
